This is not true. I appreciate the wireless technology; the other lyrics
about our values are false. It's really what you want to believe and
what you make them and want them to be.
I never thought one would be a relativist on such issues................(tongue in cheek)....
But I agree, we cannot blanket Linda's piece either way.
Katie, our values are like that. I mean, look at the youth, how many
pple are jobless?? U work too hard and take peanuts home? Life is
meaningless-guys don't know where they are going in life. I tend to think
that its true. Its just that there are afew pple who maynt be there, but a
big majority- are that less ness life. I don't support that, but that's
the kind of society we av today.
I think it depends on how one looks at life. For instance, which is
more
convinient, a phone with a cord (read landline) or a mobile phone? If
education is really valueless, our parents and society wouldnt be
investing so much in the same. The only problem is that nothing much
has
been done to create more jobs in our country that why guys are landing
good
jobs abroad where education is valued - may be our politics hold true
i.e
shameless. Our politicians need to do sth or else we prod them to do so
via
pressure groups, elections. In my view, the suggestions of 21st century
cannot see the light of the day if the society looks at the glass of
water
as half full and not as half empty.
